Mount Vernon Forward Launches City Council Campaign Website

The Mount Vernon Forward coalition today announced the launch of its 2021 City Council Campaign website at https://www.mvforward.com/ — the central online headquarters for the growing grassroots effort for progress in Mount Vernon.

The full service campaign site is the latest sign of rapidly growing momentum behind candidates Ed Poteat, Cathlin Gleason, and Danielle Browne in the June 22nd Mount Vernon Democratic Primary.

“We know so many people count on that virtual connection during this pandemic, and our website will present our candidates to the community on a constant basis,” said MV Forward Campaign Manager Joseph Fordyce. “It’s the go-to place for candidate biographies, issue statements and positions, press releases, fundraising and Campaign events.”

Mount Vernon Forward is a diverse coalition of concerned Democrats, dedicated to continuing making progress for a better future for Mount Vernon by supporting a slate of dedicated candidates for City Council. Committee membership comes from many sectors: small business owners, Mount Vernon professionals, public officials, organized labor, community leaders, seniors, educators, nurses, youth advocates, and lifelong loyal Democrats.

Prospective Campaign volunteers are urged to contact Campaign Manager Fordyce at 914–573–6347 or votemvjfj@gmail.com.

* Note: MV Forward is not a political action committee and does not accept donations; it is a slogan created by a coalition of Mount Vernon residents. All campaign materials and associated cost are paid for by Friends of Danielle Browne, Cathlin 4 Council, and Friends of Ed Poteat.
